Meet Georgie
Director and Clinical Nurse Consultation Disability and Rehabilitation: Georgina McGrath
After being in a business partnership in another community based business for close to three (3) years Georgina (aka Georgie) McGrath established McGrath Nursing Consultancy in 2017. With over 25 years' Disability & Rehabilitation Nursing experience and 10 years’ experience working in private practice within the community sector Georgie is keen to continue to spread her nursing practice to clients/participants, organisations, carers, attendant care workers & the world!
Georgie worked during her Registered Nursing undergraduate training days as an Assistant in Nursing on an inpatient Spinal Unit. Since graduating as a Registered Nurse in late 1993 she has held positions in Sydney and as far north as Townsville. Georgie believes her varied work experiences has enabled her to gather multiple experiences along the way, and these enrich her practice . She holds post graduate qualifications in Community Nursing; Clinical Rehabilitation and Nurse Life-Care Planning.
Personally Georgie is a single mum who's son has started High School in 2018 and has an adored cavoodle - Rex. If you follow us on Facebook you may see updates about Rex as the "office assistant". If Georgie wasn't a nurse she was interested in becoming a florist or hairdresser!
